On Monday 2nd August, our Corby based team were invited to take part in the ‘Tea house’ event held by the Corby Community Arts Project on the Kingswood Estate.
The event involved setting up on a communal lawn area of the estate. Passers-by were invited to stop and have a chat, share tea, and eat biscuits.
The aim of the project was to gather people to share their stories and experiences, to bring about positive civil change in the area.
Kate and Lola run every aspect of this project, from setting up the gazebos, to making the tea, to building relationships.
It was such as honour to be part of a lovely event and be able to listen to all the stories.
